I-GO Carsharing — a Chicago-based, transit-oriented, local, not-for-profit carsharing organization — was recently purchased by Enterprise Holdings. As the trend towards industry consolidation continues, the CSA continues to support the development of non-profit carsharing as a vital component of the carsharing industry.
The CSA membership includes both for-profit and not-for-profit carsharing organizations that support a community-focused, transit-oriented carsharing mission. As a founding member of the CSA, I-GO contributed to the development of the industry’s Code of Ethics & Standards of Practice.
The CSA encourages Enterprise to adhere to the Code of Ethics, ensure that members receive the affordability, convenience and environmental benefits that carsharing provides and continue to support a community-focused, transit-oriented carsharing mission.
