Alternative Transportation for Chicagoland is a not-for-profit organization affiliated with Center for Neighborhood Technology. CNT pioneered shared-use mobility in Chicago with I-Go CarSharing between 2002 and 2013. ATC’s mission is to make it possible for the region’s residents to live well without having to own a vehicle and to create an integrated, multimodal transportation system. Sharon Feigon, founder of I-Go and now CEO of ATC has been a champion for transit-oriented carsharing and is now working together with the Center for Shared-Use Mobility to encourage sensible regulatory policy for innovative forms of carsharing, bikesharing and ridesharing.
